Ludwig Albert Ganghofer (* 7. Juli 1855 in Kaufbeuren; † 24. Juli 1920 in Tegernsee) war ein bayerischer Schriftsteller, der durch seine Heimatromane bekannt und wegen seiner propagandistischen Kriegsberichterstattung bereits zu Lebzeiten kritisiert wurde.
