Lunéville est une commune française du département de Meurthe-et-Moselle. Située dans la région historique et culturelle de Lorraine, la commune fait aujourd'hui partie de la région administrative Grand Est. Connue pour son château, surnommé le « Versailles Lorrain 2 ». Ses habitants sont appelés les Lunévillois .
The Château de Lunévillewas the former royal residence of the ruling Dukes of Lorraine. It is often likened to the far grander and larger Palace of Versailles. It is no longer a royal residence and is today a museum. The restoration of the building and its decors is under way.
