13 de may. de 2024 · Margaret Beauchamp, a half-sister of the Kingmaker's countess, married her husband here. He was John Talbot, Earl of Shrewsbury and the couple would play a central role in the early Wars of the Roses, especially through their feuds with the Berkeley family.

Hace 5 días · The manor of Little-Longstone appears to have been afterwards in the Shakerleys, of whom it was purchased in the reign of Queen Elizabeth by the Countess of Shrewsbury. It is now by inheritance from the Countess, the property of the Duke of Devonshire.
