Margareta Slots or Margareta Cabiljau (died 1669) was the royal mistress of king Gustav II Adolf of Sweden and the mother of his illegitimate son Gustav of Vasaborg. Margareta Slots was the daughter of the Dutch merchant Abraham Cabiljau and Maria van Leest. [1]
8 de mar. de 2018 · Margareta Slots' personal history is only known due to the fact that she had a son with King Gustav II Adolf. Her story is an example of the pragmatic approach to – and to some degree tolerant view of – extramarital affairs in the upper social classes at the time. Margareta Slots died in 1669. Her grave lies in Vada church in Uppland.

Margareta Slots era hija del comerciante holandés Abraham Cabiljau y Maria van Leest. [1] Durante la Guerra de Ingria , Slots conoció a Gustav en el asedio de Pskov en 1615. En ese momento ella estaba casada con el ingeniero militar holandés Andries Sessandes, [2] quien cayó en batalla en Pskov poco después (octubre de 1615).

Margareta Slots, född omkring 1600, död omkring 1669, [1] var älskarinna till Gustav II Adolf 1615, med vilken hon fick sonen Gustaf Gustafsson af Vasaborg 1616. Hennes bror var juristen och skribenten Johan Cabiljau .
