24 de mar. de 2021 · On the 24th March 1721, German composer Johann Sebastian Bach dedicated what were to become known as the Brandenburg Concertos to Margrave Christian Ludwig of Brandenburg-Schwedt, the younger brother of King Frederick I of Prussia.
2 de ago. de 2021 · Antonio Pesne: Margrave Christian Ludwig of Brandenburg-Schwedt (1710) Despite their spurning by the Margrave, the concertos are an important development in the German history of the concerto. They follow the lead of Vivaldi in that they aren’t a small group of instruments versus a larger group of instruments (as in a concerto grosso ) but are all based on various solo combinations.
