Christian Friedrich Carl Alexander ( German: Christian Friedrich Karl Alexander; 24 February 1736 – 5 January 1806) was the last margrave of the two Franconian principalities, Bayreuth and Ansbach, [a] which he sold to the King of Prussia, a fellow member of the House of Hohenzollern .

The titles of Margrave of Brandenburg and Elector of Brandenburg were abolished along with the Holy Roman Empire in 1806, and Brandenburg was formally integrated into Prussia. Despite this, the Prussian kings still included the title "Margrave of Brandenburg" in their royal style. From 1871 to 1918 the Hohenzollerns were also German Emperors.

21 de feb. de 2023 · George the Pious was a Margrave of Brandenburg-Ansbach who lived from 1484 to 1543. He was a member of the House of Hohenzollern and had significant territories and influence. He was instrumental in the Protestant Reformation and obtained the Duchy of Racibórz, Jägerndorf, and Oppeln.
