Marguerite Georges (1787–1867) was a French stage actress. She was one of the most famous French actresses of her time. She is also known for her affair with Napoleon, but also claimed to have had an affair with the Duke of Wellington, a claim which is considered probable by some historians.

Between 1802 and 1804, Napoleon had affairs with two French actresses: Marguerite Georges (1787–1867) and Josephine Duchesnois (1777–1835). They were two of the finest stage actresses of the era. Marguerite was first the mistress of Napoleon’s brother Lucien before she started an affair with Napoleon.
