Maria Walpole (Westminster, 10 luglio 1736 – Brompton, 22 agosto 1807) fu un membro della famiglia reale britannica in quanto moglie del principe Guglielmo Enrico, duca di Gloucester ed Edimburgo. Maria Walpole, duchesse de Gloucester et d'Édimbourg est comtesse Waldegrave de 1759 à 1767 par son mariage avec James Waldegrave, et membre de la famille royale britannique à partir de son mariage en 1766 avec le prince William Henry de Grande-Bretagne.

By the 1730s, Walpole lived openly with his mistress Maria Skerrett, with whom he had already had a daughter. In March 1738, Walpole married her. But Maria died just a few months later in childbirth. Before leaving office, Walpole arranged to have his illegitimate daughter legitimised, and she became ‘Lady Maria Walpole’.
