Maria van Arkel (c. 1385 – 19 July 1415) was the only daughter and heiress of Lord John V of Arkel and Joanna of Jülich. She inherited the title to Gelderland from her maternal uncle, Duke Reginald IV, and her son became Arnold, Duke of Gelderland .

Maria van Arkel (or Mary von Arkel) was born circa 1385 to Jan V van Arkel (1362-1428) and Johanna von Jülich (-1394) and died 18 July 1415 of unspecified causes. She married Jan II van Egmond (1384-1451) 23 June 1409 JL.
Biography. Maria van Arkel b about 1389, IJsselstein, d. 18 juli 1415, was a daughter of Jan V van Arkel and Johanna van Gulik. She married Jan II van Egmond (1385-1451) : Jan van Egmond overleed den 4den Januarij 1451. Zijn leven was gekenmerkt door groote onrust, en zijne regering over Egmond door groote twisten met de abten der Abdij.
