Maria van Arkel (c. 1385 – 19 July 1415) was the only daughter and heiress of Lord John V of Arkel and Joanna of Jülich. She inherited the title to Gelderland from her maternal uncle, Duke Reginald IV, and her son became Arnold, Duke of Gelderland .

Maria van Arkel (c. 1385 – 19 July 1415) was the only daughter and heiress of Lord John V of Arkel and Joanna of Jülich. She inherited the title to Gelderland from her maternal uncle, Duke Reginald IV, and her son became Arnold, Duke of Gelderland.
Biography. Maria van Arkel b about 1389, IJsselstein, d. 18 juli 1415, was a daughter of Jan V van Arkel and Johanna van Gulik. She married Jan II van Egmond (1385-1451) : Jan van Egmond overleed den 4den Januarij 1451. Zijn leven was gekenmerkt door groote onrust, en zijne regering over Egmond door groote twisten met de abten der Abdij.

Maria van Arkel (Arkel, ca.1389 - IJsselstein, 19 juli 1415) was Vrouwe van Egmont en IJsselstein, door haar huwelijk met Jan II van Egmont. Levensloop. Ze was een dochter van Jan V van Arkel en Johanna van Gulik, via wie ze afstamde van het huis Gulik.
