Marie Eleonore von Brandenburg (1607-1675) [1] was a princess of Brandenburg, Countess Palatine and from 1655 to 1658, regent of Simmern . Biography. Marie Eleonore was the only child of Elector Joachim Frederick of Brandenburg from his second marriage to Eleanor of Prussia, daughter of Albert Frederick, Duke of Prussia.

25 de nov. de 2017 · Despite protests from her son, the Duchess managed to smuggle her daughter out of Brandenburg to Mecklenburg, where Swedish ships were waiting to bring her to Kalmar. Following a month of travelling at sea, Maria Eleonora arrived safely in October of 1620.
