Matthew Arkin (born March 21, 1960) is an American actor, acting instructor, and author. Early life and education. Arkin was born in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Jeremy Yaffe, a nurse, and actor Alan Arkin. He is the younger brother of actor Adam Arkin.
