Max Beckmann Artista alemán Nació el 12 de febrero de 1884 en Leipzig (Alemania). Cursó estudios en la Academia de Bellas Artes de Weimar. En el año 1904 se trasladó a Berlín, donde conoció a impresionistas como Louis Carinth y expresionistas como Edvart.

His life was marked by tragic experiences of war and uprooting, transit and exile, but also by glamorous vacations, the urge for freedom and the longing to travel.

Aus den Besonderheiten der motivischen und materiellen Quellen heraus wurde gemeinsam mit der Gestalterin Juliette Israël eine spezifische Ausstellungsszenografie entwickelt.
Max Carl Friedrich Beckmann was a German painter, draftsman, printmaker, sculptor, and writer. Although he is classified as an Expressionist artist, he rejected both the term and the movement. In the 1920s, he was associated with the New Objectivity, an outgrowth of Expressionism that opposed its introverted emotionalism.
