Maximilian William of Brunswick-Lüneburg was an Imperial Field Marshal. Maximilian William was born on 13 December 1666 at Schloss Iburg near Osnabrück. He was the third son of Ernest Augustus, Elector of Brunswick-Lüneburg, and Sophia of the Palatinate.
