We took the Coastal route and enjoyed it very much. Mullaghmore is a small fishing village. The harbour is very pretty. We drove on the coast road to Mullaghmore head (this is where international surfers come in search of big waves called 'prowlers'. i was told that swells can reach up to 30m (approx. 100 feet).This usually happens in the Winter.
