Noel John Christopher Harrison (29 January 1934 – 19 October 2013) was an English actor and singer. In the 1950s, he was a member of the British Olympic skiing team. In 1968, Harrison had a top-10 hit in the UK Singles Chart with "The Windmills of Your Mind".

Noel Harrison: 1934 - 2013. Celebrities and newspapers across the world paid tribute to Noel Harrison after he died aged 79 on Sunday, October 20, 2013. The singer had a heart attack at his home in Ashburton, Devon on Saturday, October 19 after performing at the village of Black Dog in Devon earlier that night.
In the original 1968 film The Thomas Crown Affair, the song is heard – sung by Noel Harrison – during opening credits; and, during the film, in a scene in which the character Thomas Crown flies a glider at the glider airport in Salem, New Hampshire.
