Klein-Glienicke - situated between Glienicke Palace, the hunting lodge and Babelsberg - was a hot spot during the Cold War. After the division of Germany, the once idyllic place belonged to the territory of the GDR and was surrounded by the Wall and the West, and could only be reached via a narrow bridge from Babelsberg.
