Pavel Vasilyevich Chichagov or Tchichagov (Russian: Па́вел Васи́льевич Чича́гов; 8 July [O.S. 27 June] 1767 – 1 September [O.S. 20 August] 1849) was a Russian army and naval commander of the Napoleonic Wars.

Chichagov was one of the leading proponents of the Russo-French alliance during the build up to the Campaign of 1812. He regarded Britain and her near monopoly over international commerce as a much more serious threat than Napoleon.
Pavel Vasilievich Chichagov, the Son of Admiral Vasiliy Chichagov, was born on 27 June 1767 in St. Petersburg and was enlisted in the Guard in 1779. In 1782, he took part in the campaign in the Mediterranean Sea as an aide-de-camp to his father.
