Peter von Biron o Pedro Biron (15 de febrero de 1724 - 13 de enero de 1800) fue el último duque de Curlandia desde 1769 hasta 1795. Peter nació en Jelgava (en alemán: Mitau ), hijo de Ernst Johann von Biron, futuro Duque de Curlandia, y su esposa Benigna von Trotha.

Peter von Biron war Reichsgraf und ab 24. November 1769 Herzog von Kurland und Semgallen sowie ab 6. April 1786 Herzog von Sagan. 1792 erwarb er die große Herrschaft Nachod in Ostböhmen.

However, the dynasty was short lived and ended with Peter von Biron, who died in 1800 with no male heirs. Today, existing line of the family are descendants of Prince Karl Ernst, Duke Peter's younger brother.
Ernst Johann von Biron (German: Ernst Johann von Biron; Russian: Эрнст Иоганн Бирон; (German: Bühren); 23 November [O.S. 13 November] 1690 – 29 December [O.S. 18 December] 1772) was a Duke of Courland and Semigallia (1737–1740 and 1763–1769) and briefly regent of the Russian Empire in 1740.
