Philipp Christoph Graf von Königsmarck (* 4. März jul. / 14. März 1665 greg. in Stade; † 1. Juli jul. / 11. Juli 1694 greg. in Hannover) war ein hannoverscher Offizier und Hofkavalier. Han var son till Conrad Christoffer von Königsmarck, bror till Aurora von Königsmarck, Amalia Wilhelmina von Königsmarck och Carl Johan von Königsmarck samt brorson till Otto Wilhelm von Königsmarck.

The story – as brief as we can tell it – is that a dashing Swedish soldier of fortune, Count Philip Christoph von Königsmarck, entered the service of Elector Ernest Augustus of Hanover, and then entered the bedchamber of his daughter-in-law, Sophia Dorothea of Cele.

When her brother, Philip Christoph, disappeared in Hannover in 1694 in mysterious circumstances Aurora von Königsmarck set out to learn what had happened. Following her initial lack of success she sought the help of Duke Anton Ulrich of Braunschweig-Lüneburg in Wolfenbüttel and of Elector Frederick August in Dresden given that her brother was in Saxon service.
