27 de nov. de 2019 · Founded in 1941, Phonographic Performance Limited, also known as PPL India, is a performance rights organization licensing its members’ sound recordings for communication to public in the areas of public performance and broadcast.
PRS for Music and PPL (Phonographic Performance Limited) are separate organisations who license different sets of rights in the use of music. PPL licenses the use of recorded music where played in public, broadcast on radio or TV, or used on the internet, on behalf of record companies and performers.
BUSINESS REVIEW. 2021 saw revenue growth for PPL with total licence fee income of £252.8m, which represented an increase of 12% compared to the prior year (2020: 225.7m). Net distributable revenue reached £217.5m (2020: £193.0m).
