Pieter van Vollenhoven Jr. (born April 30, 1939) is the husband of Princess Margriet of the Netherlands and a member, by marriage, of the Dutch royal house.

Pieter van Vollenhoven (Schiedam, 30 april 1939) is een Nederlands oud-praktijkhoogleraar, voorzitter van het Fonds Slachtofferhulp en oud-voorzitter van de Onderzoeksraad voor Veiligheid. Hij is de echtgenoot van prinses Margriet.
On 1 October 2005 Pieter van Vollenhoven was appointed Professor of Risk Management at the University of Twente. Professor Van Vollenhoven is also Honorary Chair of the Community and Safety Association (in Dutch), an independent organisation that advises on safety issues.
Prof. mr. Pieter van Vollenhoven is erevoorzitter van het Fonds Slachtofferhulp. Het Fonds ondersteunt en initieert projecten voor de verbetering van de positie van slachtoffers, nabestaanden en getuigen van misdrijven, verkeersongevallen en rampen in Nederland.

6 de may. de 2022 · Her Royal Highness Princess Margriet of the Netherlands and her husband Professor Pieter van Vollenhoven will pay an official visit to Ottawa, Canada from Thursday 12 May to Monday 16 May. The visit was originally planned for 2020, to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Netherlands.
