The Prankster ( Oswald Hubert Loomis) is a supervillain appearing in media published by DC Comics, primarily as an enemy of Superman. The Prankster's particular gimmick is the use of various practical jokes and gags in committing his crimes.

As crime comics came under scrutiny in the late 1940’s and 1950’s due to the violence and content depicted within, legislation was put in place to limit the degree and kind of criminal activity that could be depicted in comic books.

In this latter group, I particularly liked Lee Falk and Jack Kirby, who certainly contributed to shaping my creative imagination.
