Praskovya Fedorovna Dubrovina (mother) Maria Rasputin (born Matryona Grigorievna Rasputina , Russian : Матрёна Григорьевна Распутина ; 27 March 1898 – 27 September 1977) was the daughter of Grigori Rasputin and his wife Praskovya Fyodorovna Dubrovina.

Maria Rasputin was born as Matryona Grigorievna Rasputina on 26 March 1898 in Pokrovskoye, Russian Empire, to Grigori Rasputin and his wife Praskovya Fedorovna Dubrovina. In 1910, she went to the Kazan Gymnasium. With her family, she then moved to St. Petersburg where her name was changed from Matryona to Maria.
In 1886, Rasputin traveled to Abalak, some 250 km east-northeast of Tyumen and 2,800 km east of Moscow, where he met a peasant girl named Praskovya Dubrovina. After a courtship of several months, they married in February 1887.
