Prince Andrew of Greece and Denmark ( Greek : Ανδρέας; Danish : Andreas; 2 February [ O.S. 21 January] 1882 – 3 December 1944) was the seventh child and fourth son of King George I and Queen Olga of Greece. He was a grandson of Christian IX of Denmark and the father of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

He led a life of ignorance, depression, loneliness, before finally dying, wishing to see his family together one last time. On 3rd December 1944, Prince Andrew of Greece and Denmark dragged his last breathe at the age of 62 in Monte Carlo.
