6 de may. de 2024 · New Braunfels was established in 1845 by German Prince Carl of Solms-Braunfels. Prince Carl was the commissioner general of the “Society for the Protection of German Immigrants in Texas” and named the city after his hometown in Germany.

She acted as the political adviser of her spouse during his reign, and acted as his de facto deputy and regent during his infirmity from 1640 to 1647.
