  7. Amélie of Arenberg was born on 10 April 1789 in Paris as the daughter of Prince Louis Marie of Arenberg and Anne Adélaïde Julie, Comtesse de Mailly de Nesle. Her parents had married on 26 June 1788 in the chapel of the Hotel d’Harcourt in Paris. Tragically, Amélies mother would die on Christmas Eve in the year of her birth.
