Princess Anna Amalia of Prussia was a renowned composer and musician, born in Berlin, Prussia in the year 1723. She was the daughter of Frederick William I of Prussia and Sophia Dorothea of Hanover, and the sister of Frederick II of Prussia, also known as Frederick the Great. Anna Amalia showed a keen interest in music from a young age.
