16 de jun. de 2022 · On January 23, 1957, Princess Caroline was born to Princess Grace (better known as American actress Grace Kelly) and Prince Rainier III in the Prince's Palace of Monaco to much excitement. Later that year, baby Caroline was officially introduced to the public, when her parents showed her off for the first time on the palace balcony.

Great Britain. In 1714, Queen Anne died, and Caroline's grandfather became George I and her father Prince of Wales. At the age of one year, Caroline accompanied her mother and elder sisters, the Princesses Anne and Amelia, to Great Britain, and the family resided at St James's Palace, London. She was then styled as a Princess of Great Britain.
A second group of Highland supporters and Border Jacobites, marched south into England. On the 13th November 1715 at Preston, Lancashire, they met the English troops, and in a battle lasting two days, the Jacobites were defeated and later minor insurrections were thwarted.

She was born on 10th June 1713 at her family’s home in Herrenhausen Palace in Hanover, She was the fourth child, third daughter of her parents, George of Hanover and Caroline of Ansbach. Caroline’s birth was followed by a further five children, one of whom was stillborn, one who died aged three months.
