Biography. Princess Louise Charlotte Friederike of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg was born on 5 March 1749 at Glücksburg Castle. Her father was Frederick, Duke of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg. Her mother, Henriette Augusta of Lippe-Detmold, was a daughter of Simon Henry Adolph, Count of Lippe-Detmold.
Princess Dorothea of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg (28 September 1636 – 6 August 1689), was Duchess consort of Brunswick-Lüneburg by marriage to Christian Louis, Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg, and Electress of Brandenburg by marriage to Frederick William, Elector of Brandenburg, the "Great Elector".
Princess Olga resided with her family at Gmunden and remained unmarried throughout her life. In 1958, shortly before Olga's death, her nephew Ernest Augustus, Prince of Hanover , and his wife Princess Ortrud of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg named their daughter, born in 1958, Olga in her honour.
Friedrich Wilhelm, Duke of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg was a German-Danish prince and officer who was the Duke of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Beck from 1816 to 1825, and the Duke of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg from 1825 to 1831. Friedrich Wilhelm is the progenitor of the House of Glücksburg.
Princess Caroline Mathilde of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Augustenburg (Viktoria Friederike Auguste Marie Caroline Mathilde; 25 January 1860 – 20 February 1932) was the second-eldest daughter of Frederick VIII, Duke of Schleswig-Holstein and his wife Princess Adelheid of Hohenlohe-Langenburg.
Born in Grünholz, Schleswig-Flensburg, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany on 31 Aug 1859 to Friedrich of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg and Adelheid, Princess of Schaumburg-Lippe. Marie Wilhelmine Luise Ida Friederike Mathilde Hermine of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg passed away on 26 Jun 1941 in Itzehoe, Steinburg, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany .
