However Landgrave William IX of Hesse-Kassel (or Hesse-Cassel) occupied all of Schaumburg-Lippe except for Wilhelmstein , after invading it to enforce his claim to Schaumburg-Lippe based on Princess Juliane's supposed morganatic ancestry.
