Röcken is a village and former municipality in the Burgenlandkreis district, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Since 1 July 2009, it has been part of the town of Lützen. The village is best know as the birthplace, in 1844, of philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche, whose father was the pastor here. The house where he was born still stands today.

Röcken is a small rural community with about 170 inhabitants and is located directly on the traditional country road between Leipzig and Weißenfels in Saxony-Anhalt. The village was first mentioned in a document in 1232, but it was founded much earlier by Sorbian settlers.
