Richard of Conisbrough, 3rd Earl of Cambridge (20 July 1385 – 5 August 1415) was the second son of Edmund of Langley, 1st Duke of York, and Isabella of Castile, Duchess of York. He was beheaded for his part in the Southampton Plot, a conspiracy against King Henry V. He was the father of Richard Plantagenet, 3rd Duke of York, and the grandfather of King Edward IV and King Richard III.

Richard was born around 20 July 1375 at Conisburgh Castle. He was the second son of Edmund of Langley, 1st Duke of York, and his wife Isabella of Castile. His paternal grandfather was Edward III, his paternal grandfather was Peter the Cruel, King of Castile and Leon and his mistress, Maria de Padilla. Richard II was his godfather.

Complot de Southampton. El Complot de Southampton fue una conspiración de 1415 destinada a asesinar al rey Enrique V de Inglaterra y a sus hermanos para reemplazarlo por Edmundo Mortimer, V conde de la Marca. La conspiración fue tramada por Ricardo de Conisburgh, conde de Cambridge, Enrique Scrope y Sir Thomas Grey .
