Hace 2 días · The manor descended with the honor of Arundel, and on the death of Hugh d'Aubigny, Earl of Arundel, in 1243 it was assigned to his widow Isabel in dower. She survived until 1282, when it passed to her husband's great-great-nephew Richard FitzAlan.
