Der fliegende Holländer, „Romantische Oper in drei Aufzügen“ (so die Originalbezeichnung), ist eine Oper von Richard Wagner, die 1843 uraufgeführt wurde. Den Stoff für die Handlung lieferte die Geschichte des niederländischen Kapitäns Bernard Fokke (siehe die Sage vom Fliegenden Holländer).
