It was shot at the Babelsberg Studios in Potsdam. The film's sets were designed by the art directors Hans Sohnle and Otto Erdmann.

Summaries. The stenographer Inge and her fiance Karl go on a joyride and commit a hit-and-run after running down a child in the road. The landlady of a dubious inn, who finds out about their flight, turns over Inge to an Argentinian pimp and lets Karl get arrested by the police.
