Robert Blum (Colonia, 10 de noviembre de 1807 - Brigittenau, cerca de Viena, 9 de noviembre de 1848) fue un político alemán de la época de la Revolución alemana de 1848-1849. Descendiente de una familia socialmente desfavorecida, Blum completó su formación de manera autodidacta .
Robert Blum (10 November 1807 – 9 November 1848) was a German democratic politician, publicist, poet, publisher, revolutionary and member of the National Assembly of 1848. In his fight for a strong, unified Germany he opposed ethnocentrism and it was his strong belief that no one people should rule over another.
Robert Blum (* 10. November 1807 in Köln; † 9. November 1848 in der Brigittenau bei Wien) war ein deutscher Politiker, Publizist, Philhellene, Verleger und Dichter in den Jahren vor und während der Revolution von 1848. Er stammte aus der Unterschicht und hatte sich zum Teil autodidaktisch weitergebildet.

Robert Blum zählt zu den populärsten deutschen Demokraten des 19. Jahrhunderts. Er war ein herausragender Vorkämpfer für Freiheit, Rechtsstaatlichkeit, Einheit und Völkerverständigung und starb für diese Ideale den Märtyrertod in der Revolution von 1848.
