General Robert Ellice (13 October 1784 – 18 June 1856) was a British Army officer. Born the son of Alexander Ellice and brother of Edward Ellice, Ellice was commissioned as an ensign on 8 November 1798. Probably General Robert Ellice, son of Alexander Ellice and brother of Edward Ellice (q.v.). If so, born 1784, married Eliza Courtney (daughter 2nd Earl Grey and Lady Georgiana Spencer), died 1856, awarded part of the compensation for the enslaved people on Richmond estate in Grenada as administrator of John Inglis.
