This title provides a biography of the longest-serving Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Robert Banks Jenkinson, 2nd Earl of Liverpool, who held the post from 1812 to 1827. He steered Britain through the end of the Napoleonic Wars, through periods of unrest through Catholic emancipation.

After nearly 15 years in office, he was forced to retire in early 1827 because of a stroke. Liverpool died on December 4, 1828, at Kingston upon Thames, London. (1770–1828).
