Susan Barrantes. Susan Mary Wright ( Nottinghamshire, Inglaterra; 9 de junio de 1937- Tres Lomas, Buenos Aires, Argentina; 19 de septiembre de 1998), también conocida como Susan Barrantes, fue una socialite inglesa destacada en la realeza, madre de Sarah Ferguson, la duquesa de York, y la esposa del polista argentino Héctor Barrantes.
Sarah Ferguson est la deuxième fille du major Ronald Ferguson (en) (1931-2003) et de sa première épouse, Susan Mary Wright (1937-1998), qui divorcent en 1974. Après sa carrière militaire, Ronald Ferguson a été l'entraîneur de polo du prince Philip, puis du prince Charles, au Guards Polo Club.
