The Rostock University of Music and Drama (short HMT, Hochschule für Musik und Theater Rostock in German) is a college of music in Rostock, Mecklenburg, Germany. It opened in 1994 and is situated in a former abbey called Katharinenkloster in the historical core of the city.

The HMT is located on one of the most beautiful college buildings in Germany, a former Franciscan monastery from the middle of the 13th century, which has been extended using modern construction methods. With 300 performances each year, the college enriches cultural life in Rostock.
