Leben. Sabine war eine Tochter des Markgrafen Georg von Brandenburg-Ansbach (1484–1543) aus dessen zweiter Ehe mit Hedwig (1508–1531), Tochter des Herzogs Karls I. von Münsterberg. Die Prinzessin wurde im lutherischen Glauben von ihrer Stiefmutter Aemilia von Sachsen erzogen.

Sophie of Brandenburg-Ansbach (23 March 1535, Ansbach – 22 February 1587, Legnica) was a princess of Brandenburg-Ansbach and by marriage Duchess of Legnica. Life [ edit ] Sophie was a daughter of the Margrave George of Brandenburg-Ansbach-Kulmbach (1484–1543) from his third marriage to Emilie of Saxony (1516–1591), daughter of the Duke Henry IV of Saxony.
On 6 October 1577 she married John George (1525–1598), in Jagdschloss Letzlingen. Her husband was almost 40 years older than she was. Elisabeth was his third wife, and was 16 years younger than her stepson Joachim Frederick. The marriage was celebrated without many festivities, and Elizabeth was promised 400 guilders annually as her dower.
Secondly, he married Margravine Sabina of Brandenburg-Ansbach (12 May 1529 – 2 November 1575), daughter of George, Margrave of Brandenburg-Ansbach, in 1548. They had the following children: George Albert (19 February 1555 – 8 January 1557) John (1557 – died young), twin with Albert; Albert (1557 – died young), twin with John
Anna Maria was brought up as a Lutheran and on 24 February 1544 became the wife of Christoph, Duke of Württemberg. She later acted as guardian to her son Ludwig III, Duke of Württemberg early in his reign. After the death of her husband Christoph she lived more than 20 years in the Nürtingen castle, she died in Nürtingen.
Anna Maria was a daughter of the John George, Elector of Brandenburg (1525–1598), from his second marriage to Sabina of Brandenburg-Ansbach (1548–1575), daughter of the George, Margrave of Brandenburg-Ansbach . In 1580, she was engaged to Barnim X, Duke of Pomerania of Pomerania and on 8 January 1581, she married him in Berlin.
