Hace 4 días · Sir Samuel was the eldest son of Edwin Sandys, Bishop of Worcester, and afterwards Archbishop of York. The manor was confirmed to Edwin son and heir of Sir Samuel by Letters Patent in April 1614, in the lifetime of his father, who did not die until August 1623.
