Sara is a 1976 American Western television series starring Brenda Vaccaro centering on a schoolteacher in Colorado in the 1870s. It aired from February 13 to May 7, 1976 on CBS. After Sara ended, a television movie, Territorial Men, compiled from footage shot for the weekly series, was broadcast on July 30, 1976.

Sara: Created by Michael Gleason. With Brenda Vaccaro, Louise Latham, William Phipps, Bert Kramer. Sara Yarnell leaves her staid existence back east to teach in a one-room school in Independence, Colorado. Her students adore her but she clashes with the school board.

A curly-haired Brenda Vaccaro becomes the Anna Magnani of the Plains in this Western series about Sara Yarnell, a forthright Philadelphian who goes west to become a Colorado schoolmarm. Miss Vaccaro's Sara won't stand for bullying of any sort, and she makes a fuss when the locals won't allow a half-Indian girl to attend school.
Sara meets a feisty young girl and her ailing grandfather who own a mine. After the elderly man dies he leaves his granddaughter in Sara's custody and joint ownership in the failing ore venture that the teenager is determined to operate.
