Scholastique of Champagne (also Scholastica; 1172–1219) was the daughter of Marie of France and Count Henry I of Champagne. Marriage and issue [ edit ] She married William IV, Count of Mâcon (d. 1224) in approximately 1183.
When Scholastique de Champagne was born in 1164, in Vitry-le-François, Marne, Champagne-Ardenne, France, her father, Henri Ier dit 'le Libéral' comte de Champagne, was 37 and her mother, Marie de France, was 19. She married Guillaume de Macon IV, Comte de Maçon et de Vienne in 1183, in Mâcon, Saône-et-Loire, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, France.

He was the eldest son of Count Thibaut II of Champagne (who was also Count Thibaut IV of Blois). Henry took part in the Second Crusade under the leadership of Louis VII of France.

Henry I (December 1127 – 16 March 1181), known as the Liberal, [1] was count of Champagne from 1152 to 1181. He was the eldest son of Count Theobald II of Champagne, who was also count of Blois, and his wife, Matilda of Carinthia. [1]
