Prince Sergei Georgievich Romanowsky, 8th Duke of Leuchtenberg (4 July 1890 – 7 January 1974) was the son of Prince George Maximilianovich Romanowsky, 6th Duke of Leuchtenberg and his second wife Princess Anastasia of Montenegro.

George Nikolaevich de Leuchtenberg, (1872–1929), styled Duke of Leuchtenberg, prince Romanowsky; he is famous for having hosted Anna Anderson in 1927, at Castle Seeon. In 1895 he married Princess Olga Nikolaevna Repnina (1872–1953), and had 6 children:

Three of her six brothers were murdered by the Bolsheviks: Grand Duke Sergei Mikhailovich in July 1918 and Grand Duke Nicholas Mikhailovich and Grand Duke George Mikhailovich in January 1919.
After the death without issue of Sergei Georgievich, 8th Duke of Leuchtenberg, (1890-1974), last holder of the Bavarian title, and that of his eldest son, Nicolas Maximilien (d. 2002), he and his second son Constantin are the last male representatives of the family and of the Russian ducal title.

Sergei Georgievich, 8th Duke of Leuchtenberg (4 July 1890 – 7 January 1974) was the son of George Maximilianovich, 6th Duke of Leuchtenberg and his second wife Princess Anastasia of Montenegro. He succeeded his half-brother Alexander Georgievich as Duke of Leuchtenberg from 1942 until his death.
