Jean Constance Elphinstone was born on 3 April 1915.1 She was the daughter of Sidney Herbert Elphinstone, 16th Lord Elphinstone and Lady Mary Frances Bowes-Lyon.3 She married Major John Lycett Wills, son of Arnold Stancomb Wills and Hilda Caroline Lyon, on 25 July 1936.1 She died on 29 November 1999 at age 84.3.
