Sir Robert Peel, 1st Baronet (25 April 1750 – 3 May 1830), was a British politician and industrialist and one of early textile manufacturers of the Industrial Revolution. He was one of the ten known British millionaires in 1799. He was the father of Sir Robert Peel, twice Prime Minister of the United Kingdom .

Sir Robert Peel, 2nd Baronet, FRS (5 February 1788 – 2 July 1850), was a British Conservative statesman who served twice as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom (1834–1835, 1841–1846), simultaneously serving as Chancellor of the Exchequer (1834–1835), and twice as Home Secretary (1822–1827, 1828–1830).

14 de abr. de 2024 · He was born at Bury in Lancashire, one of eleven children of Sir Robert Peel, 1st Baronet (died 1830) and his first wife Ellen Yates. His father was a Member of Parliament and moved his family down to London and bought Drayton Manor. Robert junior was educated at Harrow School and Christ Church Oxford.
