  6. Sir Thomas Pakington died in 1571 and his widow Dorothy daughter of 'Kytson the Merchant,' one of the executors of Henry VIII, held Aylesbury in dower. She was succeeded by her son Sir John Pakington, kt., who died aged seventy-four in 1625.
