Sir Thomas Green (c. 1461 – 9 November 1506) was a member of the English gentry who died in the Tower of London, where he had been imprisoned for treason. He is best known as the grandfather of Catherine Parr, last wife of King Henry VIII.

Sir Thomas Green was born on 17 January 1525, in Southwark Christchurch, Surrey, England, United Kingdom. He married Elizabeth Cowles in 1544, in Kent, England, United Kingdom. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 1 daughter. He died on 2 April 1572, in Burghfield, Berkshire, England, United Kingdom, at the age of 47.
He was sent to the Tower of London, accused of taking part in treasonable activity by the Yorkist heir, Edmund de La Pole. Sir Thomas apparently was cleared of the charge, but died before he could be released from prison, leaving a considerable estate to his two daughters.
